Sheep & goat cross grazing, to possibly help with farming costs, as well as benefitting the countryside, as you could have the goats, keeping brambles etc at bay, whilst the sheep end up grazing on grass, why separate, if a few cross breed, would make another choice of meant on the menu, for people to try, as a steak or joint. Can you imagine a geep or shoat steak on the menu ? Plus, with cross grazing, when you think about it, pregnant goat & sheep could make more milk with healthier nutrition value, with farms popping in the feeds that they do into the fields, maybe freeing up lands for a more diverse crop rotation, for warmer future climates !!! They could even have a water butt system in fields, in the wetter colder months and in the winter ones use the system to hydrate animals & even their fields via using piping & pumps ! Just some ideas... Plus, plant some marigolds in the fields too, not only with the cattle enjoy them but can keep certain parts at bay, honey bees with love them, even lavender as well as butterflies xxx Beloud
