Mental illness among British youngsters has - according official figures - almost doubled from 1 in 9 (2017) to 1 in 5 (2023, the last year with reported figures). Why would that be? And why has the most obvious cause been barely mentioned?... Covid. legitimately worried people - especially parents - expressed their concern at the time - that lockdowns, masks & fearmongering would have a significant & lasting impact on youngsters. But they were ignored - particularly by those who should have cared - teachers & the social services - who were clearly more concerned about their own wellbeing than that of the children in their care. Now, at least 1 in 5 kids are diagnosed as neurodivergent - a label they will carry through into adulthood & their working life - if they actually work. That's millions of kids whose lives have likely been ruined, or at least damaged, by what was done to them during 2020 & 2021. The covid enquiry didn't even mention the real & obvious harm to kids caused by spurious covid laws & restrictions which clearly caused immeasurably more long term harm to an entire generation than any good that may have come from them. Now Britain has a mental health crisis that represents a profound burden not only on those concerned, but also on our economy (along with the £billions wasted on furlough schemes). With such an enormous social & financial problem now facing our country why - still - has no one been held to account for the harm they've done? Their largely unscientific restrictions may have extended the lives of a few thousand, but they've permanently damaged the lives of millions
