The rioting in Belfast last night has been condemned by both British politicians & the media. But those involved are being called 'far right thugs' which is not only untrue but also profoundly devisive. Yes, some were thugs - much like some among the pro-Palestinian protesters blocking the streets of our cities almost weekly, & similar to the left wing rioters in Paris recently (& frequently). But those in authority don't label these protesters as "woke thugs", instead they make excuses for them, with some on the left not only justifying their behaviour, but even supporting them (those who toppled the Colston statue a few years ago, for example). People - many not the slightest bit interested in politics - rioted last night because no one is listening to their totally legitimate concerns about immigration &, until their concerns are addressed, the riots will likely continue. There will also likely be innocent blood spilt, but that blood won't be on the hands of those shouting - it will be on the hands of those not listening. Beloud
