Multiple fire departments, including Vienna, East Wood, and Blennerhassett Volunteer Fire Departments, responded to two separate fires Tuesday evening in Parkersburg. A quarter-mile brush fire near Staunton Avenue and Corning Park was extinguished within an hour. Simultaneously, the Parkersburg Fire Department tackled a structure fire.
