A 45-year-old Texas homeless man named Ted Fleming, who has 38 prior arrests, approached a student walking near Aldine High School, grabbed him, and injected him with an unknown substance, leading to charges of kidnapping and other offenses.According to court documents, the student was spotted by school staff stumbling and appearing off-balance on the sidewalk across from the campus, in front of a nearby shopping center on Airline Drive near West Road. Staff members quickly recorded video footage showing the student being pulled away by an unidentified man, later identified as Fleming, and alerted Aldine ISD police.When officers arrived at the scene, which was within 1,000 feet of the school grounds, they found the student unconscious and unresponsive. The responding officer administered Narcan and performed CPR, reviving the teen momentarily before he lost consciousness again en route to the hospital in an ambulance. The student reportedly told authorities that Fleming had injected him with the substance.Fleming's criminal history is extensive, with records showing at least 38 prior arrests dating back to 2014, including charges for deadly conduct, terrorist threats, indecent exposure, evading arrest, and trespassing. Not only that but he’s also a convicted sex offender. Despite multiple convictions, some involving plea deals to lesser charges, he has NEVER served time in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
