MAN ALLEGEDLY SHOOTS PREGNANT DOG, LEAVES HER TO DIE: The Wilson County Sheriff's Office in Tennessee has indicted 23-year-old Cory Evans for allegedly shooting a small dog twice and leaving her for dead. Authorities responded to a call about an injured dog, a 2-year-old Cocker Spaniel-Poodle mix, in a field. The dog was wearing a collar and had a "severely" injured front leg. Veterinarians discovered the dog had been shot twice and had to have her leg amputated. They also discovered that the dog was pregnant and gave birth to puppies later.
