Even as a Black man, I completely disagree with this.Governor Gavin Newsom just signed a bill to start paying “reparations” in California and I’m calling it what it is: pure political pandering.No one living today was a slave. No one alive today owned slaves. There were also white slaves in America, and yes — there were Black slave owners too.So how does it make sense to hand out checks hundreds of years later, It doesn’t.
